400team Raidlight, winners of Raid in France 2014

Sébastien Raichon, Audrey Ehanno, Adrien Lhermet et Thomas Gaudion have crossed the finish line this friday 11.08am, after 84hours racing. In that way, 400team raidlight , 7th in ARWS ranking, won his 2nd Raid in France, after their won in 2010.

« Many thanks and welldone to the organizers for this amazing race … with a happy end for us! Raid in France is definitely magic for us ! We went through amazing moments, sometime pretty scary… Welldone to my team mates, we never gave up and managed to keep a quick pace from the start to the finish. I felt like nothing could stop us during those 5 days », Sébastien Raichon.

« I’m very emotional about this victory. It’s my first adventure race with this team. I’m very lucky to be surrounded by amazing team partners like Adrien, who doesn’t speak much but will always find the right words. Sébastien and Thoma are very human and drives you through the course. I’ll keep in mind the storm in Causses, le Mont Mezenc… actually, its the all track which is wonderful », Audrey Ehanno

« It’s a team victory. Together, we are very strong, because very complementary. This allowed us to performed orienteering and in the transitions area. We were globally 15 minutes quicker. In the end, it’s a lot of time won! », Adrien Lhermet.

« For me its a very nice revenge knowing that in 2012, for the adventure race world championships, I had to withdrawal. I reckon we are strong due to our homogeneity, our organization and our very good knowledge of each other. We know exactly what to say to who and when. Physically we are not stronger than others », Thomas Gaudion.
