Raid in France 2016, in Aude

For this 8th edition, racers will have the opportunity to go through the Aude department.

Aude, the “Pays Cathare”, offers a wide range of different natural sites: the department is located between two mountains, the Montagne Noire in the North and the Pyrénées in the South, and is also bordering the Mediterranean Sea.

These unique landscapes allowed the department to highlight a number of nature sports, and to convert it into an essential activity to raise young people. The Aude department assembles more than 1.200 sports clubs, federated into 58 departmental committees. What to largely satisfy both experienced and amateur athletes!
