Serres, the chosen town !

Raid in France 2010 will take place this summer in Serres, a lovely town of the region Les Hautes-Alpes. The starting signal will be given Friday, the 27th of August and the arrival of the circuit ARWS on Sunday, the 29th. The organization will set up a 100% Raid in France camp on the land of the Domaine de Germanette: runners reception centre, food point, volunteers accommodations, race control, media PC... Serres : the place to be!

ARWS versus ICDI

Keep these 4 letters in mind: ARWS (Adventure Racing World Series) for those who will contest the three-day event and ICDI, for those who will take part in the short trial ... ICDI standing for I Can Do It, of course!

Discovery, sharing, eco-awareness, self-transcendence, effort, humility, courage and generosity are the keywords defining Raid in France. The latter has been part of Adventure Racing World Series (ARWS) which federates several raids all around the world. Raid in France is a sport, adventure, unforgettable human experience and an invitation to get closer to nature . This is a unique expedition in France.

2010-2011-2012 : 3 years to reach the top of the world

In 2007, the first edition of Raid in France took place. The second did in 2009. From this year, the organizing team puts out all the stops to become the world final ARWS circuit in 2012! Although it is a bit shorter than other years, Raid in France 2010 promises to be as eventful as previously, and paves the way for a race, which is to be an annual event, from now on. Thus, 2011 is the great rehearsal for the 2012 edition, the World final racing adventure.

2010 edition

Raid in France 2010 is a bit shorter than the previous years: 4-people teams, including one girl at least, running the ARWS circuit for 3 days. But the latter is always as dense: mountain biking, trekking, and various workshops along 250km, with 8 000 vertical meters positive ! New in 2010, Raid in France is available to a larger number of people with its short race, 6 to 8 hours of race day, teams of two or four, mixed or not. The country of Bu�ch in Les Hautes-Alpes is the playground of all !
