• What is the minimum 'litre' capacity of a rucksac?
  I think that a 40 litre rucksac is a good compromise with the possibility of compressing it for the parts of the Raid which don't require a lot of equipment.  The equipment reference list won't change a lot, you should try with your own equipment bearing in mind food requirements (which could be more than 2 days depending on your rate of progression).
• Why more than 2 days, I was under the impression that we would meet up with our assistants atleast once a day?
  False information, and not the last..... On the other hand, it does specify in the 'Endurance' Magazine that there are 3 points where the racers see their assistants.  One should remember that the race can last for up to 7 days and that there will be time intervals of more than 1 day between 2 assistances. This has been done to measure the teams ability to manage for long periods of time in complete autonomy.  Here the adventure begins.
• Will certain roads be forbidden during the Raid?
  Yes, there will be.  Tarmac for instance, isn't much good...
• Can one bring a pair of binoculars?
  Yes, but bear in mind the fact that they are heavy and the weight...
  
• Does the organization accept teams 100 % female? (Myriam)
  The answer is YES, 100 times yes, you can be registered like equips 100% female. The payment specifies indeed that the teams must comprise with minium a girl.
• Following my visit on Internet site of the Raid in France, I do not find what the 3200 euros include/understand like prestation/matériel. Thank you for your explanations (Miguel)
  The price of inscription is actually given gross because the list of what one will be able to find in the amount for the moment is not completely stopped. What is already finalized, it is the traditional package of the organization, i.e. all logistics "ground", safety, the charts, the roadbook and also the various types of boats necessary during the race, the meal of before race, the handing-over of the prices and its meal. In a preoccupation with a user-friendliness, we currently seek has to gather the whole of the competitors on the same arrival and starting site and hope to be able to add a part of lodging in the Inscription package.The whole of the technical material will have to be provided by the teams itself.
  If not, a small article published in the Endurance magazine explains well the philosophy which is our in terms of organization. We hold so that the competitors set out again initially with beautiful images in the head and the heart, the joy of having lived a true human adventure.

  As announced in the "competitor" file or the press, the role of the assistants will be more important and more committed than than one can usually find.
  The assistants will have, during the test, to bring you material on points of demounting located out of the beaten paths or even perhaps, to decide only strategic points for the team. A little physics, of knowledge in orientation can help. With the pleasure of counting to you among us next September.
