Raid in France ARWC 2012 is open

Raid in France, adventure racing 2012 world championships, is lance. Tonight, in l’argentiere-la-Bessée, the teams starting briefing and the openning ceremony have gathered together more than 450 people.
64 teams, of 23 different nations will soonly begin this 6 to 8 days expedition, in total autonomy, going from Ecrins to Roquebrune Cap Martin.
Planned for tomorrow: team’s parade in the village and a prologue, in the form of a mini orientating race, that will give the line up for the official start. The official start will be saturday 15th of saturday at 6am, after a mountain biking masse start. The winner of the prologue will start first this world championship 2012; the others, will follow them every 30 secondes. Raid in France-ARWS 2012 will start hardly with a long high mountain section.
