In Januay, it’s Magnificent

The first official round of the ARWS 2025 to hit the track is in New Zealand. From January 25 to February 2, the racing adventure takes on The Magnificent: 6 days and 400 km across the southern part of the island. The winner will earn a free ticket to the 2025 World Championship in Canada.

A Danish triple triumph in the first race of the season for the 2025 European Championship, Montane Kong Winter, held in early January in the Copenhagen region. Team Northern Light secures their spot in the European final in Finland.

Victory for the French team 400Team after 4 days of non-stop racing at the 2024 World Championship in Ecuador. The Swedish Armed Forces, defending their title, finished second, ahead of the Estonians of Tactical Foodpack.

From November 28 to December 8, Ecuador will be in the spotlight, hosting the 2024 Adventure Racing World Championship. Teams will compete for 4 to 7 days, covering 700 km through navigation, mountain biking, white-water sports, and more. Follow the race live at www.arworldseries.com. 

Sporty summer

Six ARWS races are scheduled for August: in the United States, Australia, Canada, Finland, Panama, and France with the Gram. This event, sponsored by Raid in France, will be held from August 30th to September 1st in the Ecrins Natural Park.

Safat win Itera

The Swedish Armed Forces Adventure Team (Safat) win ITERA Lite! They crossed the finish line at Dolgellau Rugby Club in a time of 45 hours 8 mins 25 secs on a beautiful sunny morning and said the views on the final trek, and the scenery throughout the race, had been amazing.

DSN 74-Yogi Spirit, out of ranking

The quartet of DSN 74-Yogi Spirit (8) is now forced to continue their adventure as a trio. Gregory Druais, suffering from a sprain and severe blisters, has decided to withdraw. He has been treated by the medical team.

Withdrawal of Committed

The Americans of Team Committed, whose three boys continued the adventure after Celia Nash-Undewood’s withdrawal, are now dropping out of the race. Their captain, Aaron Ogden, was treated by the event’s medical team for dehydration. He is doing better now.

Committed(6) out of ranking

The Americans of Committed (6) continue to three since AT3. Celia Nash-Underwood did not wish to continue. The team remains in the race but out of the ranking.

Withdraw of Catraid Aventure (3)

The Spanish team Catraid Aventure (3) has withdrawn. Carmen Palacin Boix did not wish to continue; the team is being repatriated to Bugeat by the organization.
