Checking day

Most of the teams have aleady arrived in Argentière-la-Bessée.  The town is buzzing with the atmosphere Raid in France – an unusual distraction in this magnificent Ecrins area.
In the program for the teams: the traditional and never ending equipment checks.  Spirits are high even when racers try to persuade the controllers that their equipment is conform with race rules.  A strange and amusing role play.
Tommorrow sees the opening ceremony, shared with the open day of the Provence Alpes Cote d’Azur region’s nature sports, an annual gathering for the nature sports sphere.
