Day of profound sadness

It is with profound sadness that we have learnt the death of Laurent Fabre, high mountain guide,victim of a fatal accident during an exercise in the mountains yesterday. Laurent was one of Pascal’s first team mates, member of the Quechua team and several times winner of Raid in France. We wish to convey our sincere condoleances to his family, team mates and his many friends.  We will fondly remember his joy for life, sense of humour and his passionate love of nature and the outdoors.
We already feel a great sense of emptiness that his disappearance has left.
