Rif Spirit, European Championship
Rif Spirit follows the « Back to Nature » motto of Raid in France, with a shorter race of 18 to 28 hours. French round of the Adventure Racing European Series, this race has been designed for the teams aiming to get an overview of long-distance adventure races or for the teams wanting to get in some more training before an international ARWS race.
In 2023, Rif Spirit will host the European Championship, from September 29 to October 1st. The winning team will win a free entry for the 2024 World Championship, in Ecuador.
The 2023 Adventure Racing European Series offers 9 legs. The winning teams of one of these rounds win a free inscription to the European Championship, in France.
Dates: September 29 to October 1st, 2023
Location: Auvergne – Rhône-Alpes
Distance: 150km ish (3200 m D+). Non stop and non assisted race
Racing time: 18 to 20h for the winning team to 28hours (closing deadline)
Teams: maximum 75 mixed teams of 4 racers
