The start line is growing

The waiting list is growing every day and after having considered the drawbacks involved in the logistics, the race directors have decided nonetheless to increase the number of teams participating in the ARWC Raid in France 2012.
70 teams can take part. 5 extra places have been created but we must wait until the end of February to know which extra teams have been chosen.  The means of choosing these teams is identical to those applied for the wild cards.The organisation will give priority to those teams respresenting a new nation or one with very few participating teams, those who favourably present the image of nature sports and the ARWS circuit or simply the ‘coup de coeur’ teams.  The places will be given out after the first two legs of the ARWS circuit at the end of February.
Thus the following will be allocated: the additional 5 wild cards then the remaining 4 wild cards, and during the year, the places corresponding to the winning and runner up teams in the ARWS legs who have chosen not to inscribe in advance.
