What are Kite, CP and AT ?

During adventure races, teams progress in orientation, autonomy, and without GPS, from mandatory point to another. Three different types of points appear on their maps : those marked K refers to Kite; those marked CP (Check point) were two volunteers welcome the teams and check their times; and finally those marked TA (Transition Area) where the racers switch activity.
